Spring Events
Rehearsals resumed on Tuesday January 3rd. We are digging into music for our spring concerts which will feature a circus theme. As hosts, we will be opening and closing the Texas Community Music Festival. Stay tuned for more details on the festival.

We have recently received a generous grant from IBM. This will allow us to buy much needed percussion equipment and additional music, among other things.

Austin Civic Wind Ensemble
One time, at band camp, we heard about this great group of musicians in A-town: As Austin's oldest community band, the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble (ACWE) has been charming Central Texas audiences since 1975. Besides treating our town to the best in-concert band performances, this ensemble also provides an outlet for Austin area musicians, amateur and professional, to get out there and play. So, whether you are looking to rekindle fond memories of your band-geek glory days or you wish to simply revel in that sound that takes you to another time and place, check them out.
